Ian Maitland Chartered MCSI Cert PFS Cert CII (MP)
Director & Independent Financial Adviser
Ian has worked in financial services for nearly thirty years from this home in Lytchett Matravers. He is married, he has children and several young grandchildren. Ian’s objective is to build long-term relationships with his clients and their families, by providing regular updates and reviews, ensuring individual long-term financial goals are achieved. His knowledge and experience ensures that clients receive impartial, excellent, unique and up-to-date advice. Ian is qualified to provide advice in the areas of Investments, Retirement Planning, Tax Planning, Personal and Corporate Financial Planning, Financial Protection and Mortgages. His aim is to understand client’s current and future needs and objectives in order to create a unique, flexible and realistic financial strategy. This includes cash flow forecasting and effective tax planning to make those objectives possible.
On 21st September 1988, Ian was a founding member of the Institute of Financial Planning, an organisation which was set up to provide the financial services industry quality advisers who work for their client rather than simply selling them financial products. Ian’s solicitor at the time drew up the original charter. In his spare time Ian enjoys actively supporting his local community and keeping up with his grandchildren.
Justin Travers ACSI CeMAP ER1 BSc (Hons)

Justin joined Greenfields in April 2018 after gaining his CeMap qualification through the London Institute of Banking and Finance. He had previously spent almost 20 years in Retail Management.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters. He is also an avid fisherman, gardener and has a keen interest in archaeology having studied this at university.
Jack White DipPFS ACSI
Independent Financial Adviser
Jack’s career in Financial Services began as a Junior Paraplanner at Greenfields. He has subsequently gone on to complete a range of exams, with his original base of expertise being founded in investments following the completion of his Investment Management Certificate. Investments have always been a real passion of Jack’s both inside and outside of the workplace. He is always keen to explore new ways that investing can bring holistic financial plans together.
Following Jack’s completion of the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, his role at Greenfields is to meet with all new and existing clients, support the firm with research of products and investments, the production of financial planning/cash flow planning reports and be a key contributor to our in-house investment committee. Going forwards, Jack aims to become a Chartered Financial Planner but he is currently taking the time to explore new areas of expertise – undertaking an MIT course on Blockchain and Money.
Ryan joined Greenfields in July 2017 in what was his first role in the Financial Services industry at the time. He often serves as the main point of contact between clients and advisors. He obtained a Level 4 Diploma in Business Administration in 2019, and has since applied that knowledge to his day-to-day role.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, travelling, keeping active and also has a great interest in music.
Abby joined our team in March 2016 as an Office Administrator. Previously, Abby worked in finance in the investment sector at JP Morgan Chase, based in Bournemouth.
Abby lives in Wimborne with her partner and young family. In her spare time she enjoys being with family and friends as well as going to the gym and travelling.
Saffra joined Greenfields in February 2020 having previously worked in the social housing sector as an administrator. Saffra comes to Greenfields with a strong background in Administration and in Compliance and is now applying that mindset to the financial sector.
In her spare time, Saffra enjoys reading, running, music and spending time with friends and family.
