Ian Maitland Chartered MCSI Cert PFS Cert CII (MP)
Director & Independent Financial Adviser
Ian has worked in financial services for nearly thirty years from this home in Lytchett Matravers. He is married, he has children and several young grandchildren. Ian’s objective is to build long-term relationships with his clients and their families, by providing regular updates and reviews, ensuring individual long-term financial goals are achieved. His knowledge and experience ensures that clients receive impartial, excellent, unique and up-to-date advice. Ian is qualified to provide advice in the areas of Investments, Retirement Planning, Tax Planning, Personal and Corporate Financial Planning, Financial Protection and Mortgages. His aim is to understand client’s current and future needs and objectives in order to create a unique, flexible and realistic financial strategy. This includes cash flow forecasting and effective tax planning to make those objectives possible.
On 21st September 1988, Ian was a founding member of the Institute of Financial Planning, an organisation which was set up to provide the financial services industry quality advisers who work for their client rather than simply selling them financial products. Ian’s solicitor at the time drew up the original charter. In his spare time Ian enjoys actively supporting his local community and keeping up with his grandchildren.
Justin Travers ACSI CeMAP ER1 BSc (Hons)
Office Manager/Mortgage, Equity Release and Protection Adviser
Justin joined Greenfields in April 2018 after gaining his CeMap qualification through the London Institute of Banking and Finance. He had previously spent almost 20 years in Retail Management.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters. He is also an avid fisherman, gardener and has a keen interest in archaeology having studied this at university.
Toby Evans BA (Hons) DipPFS ACSI
Independent Financial Planner
Building relationships with clients built on mutual trust has always been a priority for Toby. He embarked upon a career change in 2019 having started, built and successfully exited his own business operating a small group of children’s day nurseries. He sought to fulfil his dreams and passion of helping other people with their personal financial affairs, as they work towards financial freedom. Of particular interest to Toby is tax-efficient intergenerational wealth planning, and being intentional with one’s money. Toby holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, winning a prestigious award for the highest scoring candidate in his year of qualification.
Outside of work, Toby is an avid tennis player & skier. He is happily married and the proud father to two young daughters. As a multi-lingual individual he enjoys foreign travel, although this has become a little trickier with 2 under 5s!
Brenton Vickery
Trainee Paraplanner
Brenton joined Greenfields in January 2022 as a Trainee Paraplanner, having previously worked in finance as a manager of a High-Value Payments Processing team at JPMorgan Chase Bank in Bournemouth. Brenton has embarked on this career change fueled by a genuine desire to have a tangible impact on helping people achieve their life and financial goals. As such, he has begun studying for his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning to equip himself with practical industry knowledge to apply to his daily role.
Outside of work, Brenton has a keen interest in music, travelling, playing football and going to watch his team Chelsea play at Stamford Bridge whenever possible, despite a long-standing tradition of largely being in attendance for losses and draws.
